"Tomorrow is \"Made in the USA\" day. I would like to make a map for this day showing just how much US manufacturing has declined since 1990 or 2000 compared to the rest of the world. Please take a look at the dataset and come up with several good design concepts to highlight US manufacturing decline compared to the rest of the world as a map – perhaps even a centroid-based multi-temporal cartogram if that is a thing? Then we will proceed to create the map. Also, I'm experimenting with designing maps based on pre-built schemas. For this one, I would like us to try and design the map like a 1970s Soviet Propaganda map. I've attached the schema to try and help you as you come up with a map concept. Thank you! Note: I've added the same datasets twice. One is a \"wide\" version and one is a \"long\" version. We will likely only need one, but we have options. :-)",
"Yes, agreed. Great ideas. Let's go with theme two, please. I like the title \"Made Where?\" Please change the subtitle to something like \"US Manufacturing Collapse over 20 Years\". Please proceed and we will iterate from there. I appreciate it! DO NOTE CREATE AN IMAGE but an interactive web map.",
"This is near perfect. Thank you. Just a couple of tweaks and we are done. \n\nCan you make the title font roughly 15% smaller please? \n\nCan you add/use the value of 6% for China in the year 2000 and update the visualization to show this explosive growth, please? \n\n# Please change the text in the footer: \n- delete the first paragraph about Dorling-inspired cartograms and years of data used, etc. \n- Original second paragraph should now be the only paragraph and read: \"Boundaries: Natural Earth (1:110mil countries). Software: [Web Mapper GPT](https://www.webmapgpt.com/). Created for the International Cartographic Association's Map Design Commission's [#365DaysOfMaps Campaign](https://mapdesign.icaci.org), July 2, 2026.\"\n\nSources modal: please add \n\nPrompt Cartographer: [Ian Muehlenhaus](https://www.muehlenhaus.com)\n1970s Soviet Propaganda Prompt Schema [Available Here](#)\nProvenance File [Available Here]({insert_link_to_json_provenance}]\nDataset [Available Here]({insert_link_to_csv_file})\n\n---\nPlease change \"Factory Share of the World\" heading in info div to \"Manufacturing Scorecard\" and make sure it fits onto one line in most devices. \n\nAlso, allow this to be minimized when the user clicks on the header. When minimized include a Soviet style caret (i.e., font wise make it match the rest of the map) indicating it can be opened, please. \n\nConsider (if it doesn't impede the title) moving this up on the right-side to overlap with the red header and drop down over the map. It may add some layering. \n\n---\n\nThe map looks good on loading, but can you ensure that the north pole on the map (0-degrees latitude) is not padded more than 2px or 3px beneath the title div? Right now, because of the footer, the map looks visually bottom heavy. Bumping the mapped area up snug against the bottom of the title will healp slightly. \n\n---\n\nRemove the \"Data Caveat\" section from the sources modal. China has been updated (see earlier comment, please). \n\n---\n\nRename Legend to \"All That Remains...\"\n\n---\n\nThank you! :-)"
